Written by Shafat

Nai Basti, Feerwar locality, in Shadab Karewa village of south Kashmir’s District Shopian has seen no road connectivity since it was created some six decades ago. In the event of a rain or snowfall, the residents are forced to stay indoors as the pathway becomes muddy and unfit to be walked upon. People are supposed to carry patients on shoulders, using charpoys, in case there is any medical urgency. Musheer Ul Haq Manhas reports from Shopian
