Computer Aided Learning method was initiated keeping in mind the use of computer technology in every field of the contemporary world and the future of information technology. This scheme was introduced through Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) and many CALL (Computer Aided Learning Lab) centres were established in government run schools. Several hundred crores of tax payers money were spent, some four years back and since then this costly equipment ranging from the computers to generators is gathering dust. All this hardware has been kept to adorn such centers reducing it worthless. Pir Azhar reports
