The flood affected of Kawapora village in Bandipora district were paid insufficient compensations by the authorities previously. The village was severely hit during the September 2014 floods. The deadlock over the resolution of Kashmir dispute continues amid pro freedom rallies and popular anti India uprising since three months now. During the ongoing turmoil across Kashmir valley the education sector also suffered badly. With schools closed, the precious time of more than a million students was getting wasted.
