The Ration depot situated in Guzriyal, Kupwara is not giving ration to local people even though they have a valid Ration card with them. People travel to Kralpora to buy Rice from the market on higher prices.
After complaining to the Divisional Commissioner, he gave the residents a receipt and when they showed it to the head of ration depot he tore the receipt and gave them a month’s rice. The rice given was so bad that not even animals could eat it.
