Pantoon bridge in Baramulla town was declared unsafe for use after one of its pillar suffered an extensive damage in September 2014 floods. Since then the bridge lies closed and no one from the authorities has turned up to take further measures to restore it. A large number of population has got affected due to the closure of this particular bridge.
