In 1998. at the peak of Militancy Farooq Ahmad Ganai of Khurama Barosa Ganderbal was detained by Special operations Group as per family after allegedly sheltering Militants at his home. He spent one and a half year in Jail, and was constantly taken to torture centers. As per the family, he was killed during torture and his dead body was later found in Behama Chowk Ganderbal.
His family shares the ordeal of this loss.
