Gadh Mohalla, Shopian having nearly 150 Households suffers due to mismanaged lane. Whenever it rains, the lane is inundated and due to it lawns of residents also get inundated. Locals have also reached to Authorities but they are paying less attention towards their plea.
“The lane is totally broken. Last year we went to meet Executive Officer, Municipal Committee and he told they have given tender of Rs 5 Lakh to repair this lane, but till now nothing happened. We do not know what exactly happened to that amount and whether that was sanctioned or not.” says Mohammad Amin, a local resident.
