Flood victims of Zawoora of Shopian district have been waiting for the compensation for the past four years. During 2014 – floods devastated the apple orchards of Kaniora Zawoora residents. Although authorities have compensated the flood victims, these 5 families are yet to be compensated. Residents blame that after surveying authorities have put their names in compensation list but we are not yet to be compensated.
One of the residents and affected farmer Faisal Faheem residents said “they met officials many times but all our visits do not prove fruitful”.
