Government Higher Secondary School Thatharka which was established in year 1935 is in pathetic condition. There are more than 700 students currently studying in the school and due lack of infrastructure students are forced to study under open sky.
Our CC traveled to this hilly area to bring this story out. The four rooms this school has, are mostly used for official work and students suffer especially in rains and bad weather. Students from various villages come to study at this school. Teachers and locals approached authorities to resolve the issue of building several times but nothing happened.
