A middle school in Gund Momdar Village of Budgam has been incomplete from years because of manhandling by Government authorities, the owner of the school land has not been compensated and a feud between owner and Government is delaying things more.
The school is located 12 km away from district headquarters and currently, 40 students are studying in a 2 room school.
“We are not able to focus on our studies. There is always so much noise in the class because all the 8 classes are running in a single room”, – Masrat, Student
