Our Community Correspondent travels to the village of Mundiyan in Keran located at the Line of Control, at a distance of 100 km from Srinagar, the capital city of Jammu and Kashmir. All the government-run schools in Mundiyan village are shut since the beginning of the pandemic and lockdown across India. With not a single case of coronavirus, the entire schools were shut down by the authorities, and students are suffering and can be seen roaming here and there. No community schooling was started and there are no internet and communication lines in the villages.
After a detailed telephonic interview with Chief Education Officer of the area, our correspondent was assured that the action will be taken and arrangements for the community level schooling will be done.
