Keller Shopian: A Forgotten Village

People in Keller village face multiple problems in their day to day life. Located at a distance of 20 kilometers from main town Shopian the village lacks multiple basic facilities. With a lack of proper drinking water facility, electricity is also hardly available to this village and road connectivity is bad. The people in this village blame to have been ignored and neglected by the district administration, the two wards Gulab `teng and Magray Mohalla can be seen to lack basic amenities of life. The mohallas have 124 households and are aghast over the apathy of government. Since 2018, according to the locals, they approached district administration for repairing of damaged road, tenders have been issued but only restricted to papers.
