IMPACT | 400 Sheep Vaccinated After Our Report in Hangnikoot Kupwara by Sheep Department

After visiting Hagnikoot village of Kupwara our Community Correspoomdent, Pir Azhar came to know that 200 sheep of the local graziers had died in the past year as the local sheep and veterinary department had failed to vaccinate their sheep. After making a video the CC approached the local block-level sheep officials and made a social media post, the post was shared on the KU website and social media handles – it was shared by hundreds of people – After publishing a report about the issue the local authorities of Sheep department not only visited the village but also vaccinated 400 sheep of local graziers.
