Construction of the Four-Lane Highway causes Damages to 150 Houses in Ramban

Due to earth cutting for the construction of the four-lane Jammu-Srinagar National Highway from Nashri to Banihal town, the houses of around 150 families have been partially damaged as these houses are located on the roadside or on hills. Due to the construction, several houses have been partially damaged and built crakes. Families feel unsafe living in the same houses, although some families were temporarily located there are more than 100 families who continue to put up in these houses. The local Ramban administration and National Highways Authority of India (NHAi) has been failing to provide compensation to these people
