Local Activists come forward to Clean Shranzfall, a Major Water Source in Baramulla

Newly explored tourist destinations has become a hub of pollution. Shranz waterfall located in the Kandi area of Baramulla district has seen an increased footprint of local tourists in the past two years. With the increasing flow of people here, garbage is seen everywhere and pollution is increasing. According to the activists, drinking water from this source is supplied to more than two lac people of Baramulla. The locals of the area started a campaign to clean the stream and aware local visitors of the importance of protecting local water resources. Our CC, Mir Yasin is also part of this initiative.
