IGNWPS, a Widow Pension Scheme is failing to support these elderly Kashmiri widows

Two Senior citizens namely Mukhti and Fazi, of Lelhar Village of Kakapora Block in Pulwama district have applied for widow pension under the scheme, Indira Gandhi National Widow Pension Scheme (IGNWPS) in 2020, but they have not been provided the benefits of the scheme as of now. The duo has been visiting the social welfare department since then but to no avail.
