Kashmir Athlete, Basit Hamid Wins Gold in Power-lifting Championship

Three youngsters From South Kashmir’s Pulwama district outshine in All India 45th National Powerlifting Championship-2020 held National Capital New Delhi in December 2020. Mudasir Wani From Dadoora (Senior category) & Basit Hamid from Prichoo (Junior category) top All India 45th National Powerlifting Championship held at Delhi with Gold medal & Mouzam from Dalipora (Junior category) with silver. Basit Hamid a young bodybuilder & the founder of Team extreme Power lift from Prichoo while talking to us said, that I’m very passionate about bodybuilding & requested the youngsters to come into the sports & leave drug abuse. lack of support from parents but the will of becoming a champion bore fruits for him when he won in the junior category.
