Altaf Ahmad Zargar was returning to his home village Aglar on 19 June 2017 from Pulawama. At Drabgam village Govt forces had laid siege against militants in this village and Altaf was hit by bullets . Being in a poor condition, Altaf was not able to do his treatment.
After publishing a video showing his conditions, dozens of people around the world pledged to help the victim financially. His account details were shared and he received a good amount of money to support his family and get treated. Our CC Rayees also helped the victim to finalize documentation of his case at district commissioner’s office. The family is thanking the people who helped Altaf.
“I am thankful to people who provided me financial aid. I did my treatment and also got my daughter admitted in the school with that money. I am also thankful to Rayees, cc Kashmir Unheard who also helped me to file my case for compensation”, says Altaf Ahmad.
