Pir Azhar in his previous report had raised the issue of using biometric means to issue rations supplies in his village, the use of this machine without proper hygiene was posing a threat of catching the virus in the community. After making the video on this issue, Azhar reported it to the director of food and civil services Kashmir. The local Kupwara civil society and Kupwara times daily also collaborated with CC in resolving this issue. the government banned the use of biometric machines for two months, now people are feeling safe to get their monthly ration across Kashmir and no more required to give their fingerprints.
