IMPACT: Electricity Restored After our Video Report in Kupwara’s Village

For extension of electricity transmission to 200 ST population of Ward No. 7 Bulnard of Hatchmarg, Jammu and Kashmir Power development department installed Two electricity Transformers with transmission line and Polls in this hamlet in 2019, But these transformers was not get connected with electricity, people of this Hamlet was using Hightention Line as Low tension line as they have connected this to nearest transformer for electricity. Due to this there was always load on that transformer and due to load fuses of this transformer get damaged, this was causing problems for residents, I reached to this village make a video there, held a meeting in community, screened an impact video. And produced video on electricity issue, I initially take this issue in notice of executive engineer , Assistant executive engineer of department, I whatsaap them video and talked over phone as well, they gave me assurance of resolving issue, meanwhile YouTube link of Video shared by Video Volunteers on twitter and tag some official twitter handles where we also get response where official assured issue to get resolved. After some days a team of employees of jkpdcl reached to this village, check out transformers and transmission line, but issue not resolved, after that I contacted Shalaka Scheme Assistant executive Enginer under who’s supervision this work was remained in complete, he also assured for tackling of this issue, meanwhile I also tweet that issue is not restored, after that officials of JKPCL replied as assured issue to get resolved on two days, same happen after two days they restored electricity for these two transformers by this 200 population of ST get benefited.
