Ten Thousand Inhabitants of Twelve villages in Budgam have a Ten feet wide Potholed Highway

Written by Shafat

Some ten thousand inhabitants of twelve villages in Budgam district are compelled to use a mere ten feet wide highway to reach the main town. The road stretching from Kakan Marg village up to the Wadwan is not only narrow but damaged completely making it hard to be tread upon. The pathetic condition of this particular road stretch has caused several road accidents in the past also. The major portion on both sides of this road has been occupied by the residents residing adjacent to it throughout the stretch. Rafiqa Bano reports from Budgam
