There have been a number of killings in Kashmir by these murderers who were never identified and punished for their heinous crimes. The term “Unidentified Gunmen” proved handy not only for the state to silence the voices of dissent but was also exploited by the politicians of either side to settle scores against each other. In the melee, many innocents had to suffer like the family of Ghulam Ahmed Pir. Pir Azhar reports.
