Far Flung areas of Tral in South Kashmir yet to see proper roads

The inhabitants of Laam village and adjacent Zizbal Gujjar hamlets are made to travel by foot as there is no proper road leading to these areas. The availability of potable water is an another issue for these residents. Four years back, a survey for road and a bridge was taken up by the Roads and Buildings department but till date, nobody knows the fate of that survey and no works were taken up since then. Zahid Maqbool reports
