The Orphanage called as ‘Markazi Falahi Itfaal’ located at Manzgam Noorabad Kulgam operated by Social Welfare Department is in shambles. The Orphanage was setup by the state government way back in 1979 and the building has been constructed in year 2009.
A huge structure outside reflects a reverse story, inside there is no proper bathroom , neither have the orphan students been provided new clothes or material of studies. There is no proper bedding, no proper drinking water, there is a single person who takes care of this institute. Around 47 orphan students are enrolled in the orphanage.
