Sonpah village located in Budgam district is facing acute shortage of water for drinking. Despite having a good number of springs available, the authorities have not maintained them and the pipelines which has resulted in contamination of these water bodies. People are forced to take contaminated water which is dangerous for the health and can be reason for outbreak of multiple diseases. Residents of this village are worried over the scarcity of safe drinking water. They want Administration to have a proper look on expenditure of allotted budget and solve their issue immediately.
