Ishfaq Ahmad Kawa from Kawpora village in Bandipora is 22 years old young man. Ishfaq has a unique talent. He translates and sings cover of Hindi songs in Kashmiri. He is known in entire area for his beautiful voice and a unique talent. He has translated poetry of several Hindi poets into Kashmiri.
“I read old literature to understand it and learn the words. This helps me in translation of Hindi songs into Kashmiri and till now I have composed around 14 songs in Kashmiri. Most of them are available on YouTube and Facebook”, says Ishfaq.
