In 2014 the authorities of Power Department decided to install a new electricity transformer in Dar Mohalla of Drung village located in Budgam and till this year the transformer was not installed. People have been following with the authorities for these years but the result has been nil.
CC has been to meet officials with the issues and was ensured that the transformed will be installed in the village. Now the transformer has been installed after 4 years of wait. The population of around 250 has been benefited in Dar Mohalla of this far-flung area in Budgam, people are thanking CC for her activism and helping in resolving the issue.
“Since 2014 we were meeting officials to get our issue of electricity resolved but it was only due to your efforts we got the new electricity transformer” says Abdul Rehman, a local resident.
