Mohammad Shafi Dar of Maanavji Pulwama was declared 100% disabled by the health department after he fell from a tree while working. Her wife Meema now works in the fields of neighbors to earn livelihood for her and her family. Meema, is paid very less wages as compared to her male fellows. And her husband Mohammad Shafi gets an amount of Rupees 400 only by the Social Welfare Department every month as assistance under Indra Gandhi National Disability Pension Scheme while he is eligible for an amount of INR 2000 as per his disability certificate provided by Doctors.
