Sheikh Zameer an Artist from Baramulla Kashmir makes paintings on social issues. He depicts social issues through his artwork, Zameer’s father was killed by unidentified gunmen when he was seven years old, he has depicted the stories of his childhood in art. His recent artwork is showcasing the struggle of migrant laborers during this pandemic. Zameer has not taken any formal education in painting.
