Family Allege Medical Negligence at Budgam Hospital

An 18-month-old child from Waterwani Budgam died due to negligence of doctors at District Hospital Budgam on 09 of March 2021 according to the family. The child had swallowed a coin after which it was taken to the nearby govt run hospital in Budgam where according to the family the process to remove the coin was delayed and after that, the ambulance was provided very late for the child to be taken to a tertiary hospital in Srinagar. The delay at the hospital became the reason for the death of the child, alleges the family.
