Sinking Houseboats Require Renovation, One Family Rendered Homeless

Several houseboats on Jhelum river have been damaged overtime because the owners have not been allowed to renovate them. A family who was living in a houseboat at Abi Guzar Bund was rendered homeless after their houseboat capsized due to the damage in Jhelum River on 6th November and now they are living in a temporary shed because even after two days nobody came to help them. This houseboat was both home and source of income for the family . Family demands compensation.
