Srinagar-Soibugh Road, A story of Broken Promises and Bad Planing

Soibugh Budgam road which connects more than 12 villages with Srinagar was devastated due to flood in the year 2014. Later, the World Bank provided funding for the reconstruction of this road and many other projects. In the year 2020, the reconstruction work was started by Economic Reconstruction Agency. But unfortunately, again work was stopped suddenly without any reason.
