This village in Ganderbal district has been deprived of the proper power supply since last four months when the transformer developed some technical snag. The 30KVA transformer was unable to bear the load of the area which resulted into a fault. Afterwards, the transformer was repaired several times but it couldn’t work for more than a day. The residents of this area were promised an upgraded transformer of 100KVA by the concerned department which is yet to be provided. The absence of power supply has severely affected the livelihood of the people residing in Mirzapora village and also put the future of students at stake. Afroza Mahed reports
