Gulshan Bano of Sangam village from Budgam district is a mother of seven children. Her husband, Abdul Majeed left her at her parents home some nine years ago and did not come to take her back home since then. He has not divorced her either. The issue of this relationships left the children in dilemma. She occasionally works as a shawl weaver to feed her children as her father is not financially sound either. Gulshan narrates her ordeal.
