Solidarity Group, created by the local Social Activists and Students in the aftermath of Handwara molestation case, held a protest demonstration in Srinagar on Wednesday. The group seeks the immediate release of the minor girl who was allegedly molested by an Army personnel on 12th of this month. Widespread protests were held across Kashmir Valley against this incident, five people were killed in the Army and Police firing – Strict curfew was imposed in Handwara, Kupwara and Srinagar areas followed by an Internet blockade across the valley by the Local Authorities.
