The public transport across Kashmir remained suspended during the unrest of 2016. Our CC from Baramula, Abid Salam met some transporters and drivers who earn their livelihood by this sector and seeks their opinion on how they suffered due to continued unrest in Kashmir.

As per figures of, Kashmir Transport Welfare Association- there are around 1.15 lakh passenger and commercial vehicles in the Valley, which were grounded for the last more than three months.
