Muhammad Irfan Malla, 22 year old person who was married a month ago came under a huge landslide that occurred after a portion of river bank collapsed on 2nd January 2017. Family blames local contractor for de-silting the river Sindh and not taking precautionary measures which resulted in Irfan’s death. Family has not accepted the Govt compensation saying that a job shall be provided to Irfan’s brother as Irfan was sole bread earner at home.
“He was our sole bread earner. We don not have even land or any other property” adds Irfan’s mother.
