In village Drang Beerwah Budgam locals suffer due to deplorable road conditions. Most of public transport drivers are refusing to ply their vehicles on this road. This road has been constructed in year 1979 and till this date it is not reconstructed. In year 2016 some work was done on this road that has further added to the suffering of people. During winter road condition become worsened and drivers refuse to ply there vehicles on this road.
According to Govt, Jammu and Kashmir Government is targeting macadamisation of 4,000 kilometers of road length during current financial year, as the state has around Rs 5,000 crore funds available under different centrally sponsored schemes.
