Ruma Reshi cave – A Historic Cave in Pulwama Left in Shambles

A Cave at Rahmu Pulwama commonly known as Ruma Reshi cave constructed by Ruma Reshi Sahab in 13th century is in shambles. Administration is providing less attention towards this cave. Ruma Reshi is considered to be one of the Sufi mystics of Reshi cult formed by a Islamic sufi scholar Sheikh ul Alam RA during 13th century. The cave is of importance to the local Muslims of Kashmir but due to the negligence of the authorities this cave is in bad condition. The cave has a small mosque inside , people at various locations have occupied the land around the cave.
