A store of explosive material has been set up by the highway construction agency at Harrogh village in Ramban with 250 households. The Hindustan Construction Company has set up this store, the Gammon India has created this space for storing the explosives and the people live under constant threat. People demand that the store is shifted but the administration has not paid any attention.
According to Government guidelines an explosive store is to be installed 300 meters away from the habitation. While this store is been there in the midst of village for last 4 years. The people who are directly affected is around 1000 people. The law has been violated as this is a village and store is located in this village only.
