200 People of Krechapathri Detached From Rest of the Kashmir

Krechapathri, A small hamlet in Shopian is far away from basic facilities. The village is located at a distance of 10 Kms from Shopian. A population of around 200 people lacks facilities like safe drinking water, road and bridge.

The village road is in a pathetic condition with no proper bridge over the stream. Locals walk miles to reach their destination. It has been 8 decades that village residents are waiting to have a proper road.

The village also faces water crisis. There is no water scheme in the village. Residents of the village walk 4 Kms to collect and use impure water of a stream for drinking and cooking purpose.
