Residents of Sutharan Budgam Waiting for Proper Health Services Since Decades

The people of Sutharan village with more than 450 families is located nearly 42 kilometres in the south west of district headquarter Budgam. This village has a population of 2958 according to 2011 census, and people over here suffer due to the absence of a Hospital. People have to travel about 13 kms to treat normal headache like ailments and diseases. In the past, many people who met accidents were to be taken dozens of kilometers away for treatment and many people died as they couldn’t get proper treatment in time. People have been promised by the authorities that a hospital will be constructed and the locals have donated the land as well for its construction, but nothing has changed as of now.
