Civil Society Groups Provide Support to People Affected by Firing on LOC in Uri

Uri is a town located near Line of Control (LOC), this part of Kashmir is more often i news due to cross border shelling between Indian and Pakistani troops. Dozens of people in the past have lost their limbs due to this border tension and shelling. As a helping hand and to provide Artificial limbs to these people and other disabled people of the area a three-day camp was organized by Shree Bhagwan Mahaveer Viklang Sahayata Samiti Jaipur, Pritam Trust Poonch in association with the Indian Army and civil administration. People of the area appreciated the efforts. It is pertinent to mention that the erstwhile state of J&K has more than 3 Lac specifically abled persons.
