Wicker Artisans of Srinagar, Keeping Ages Old Traditional Work Alive

Kashmir’s wicker artisans are known across South Asia for their craftsmanship. Products like, baskets, storage items, decorative pieces for special occasions, Kangri, etc are some of the well-known items made of wicker. It is believed that this art traveled to Kashmir from Europe.
