Young Girls in Kupwara Forced to Leave Schooling Due to Water Fetching Responsibilities

20-year-old Qasim Jan from Mori Kalaroose left school after completing her Matriculation, as she spent most of her time like dozens of other girls fetching water from Nallah Mori, which is approximately 1 kilometer downhill from her home. Like Qasim Jan, many other girls have also been forced to leave school due to similar responsibilities.
