A Look Into Smart City of Srinagar – Inconvenience, Trouble and Traffic Chaos

The crores of worth Smart City Project has taken up lal chowk and its adjacent areas apart from some other areas under the Area-based development plan but in the name of these projects roads and footpaths are being dug up almost everywhere which is creating problems for the people especially to the shopkeepers of these areas. Due to this slow construction works underway in Srinagar, traffic jams are seen in the city centre every day. Moreover, winter has already arrived, so the question is whether these projects will be completed on deadline and Are these projects going to really make Srinagar city look smart.
