Over 7000 youths have been detained by the police in the entire valley during nocturnal raids since last three months. Many have been slapped with stringent Public Safety Act and shifted out of the valley. In many areas of Kashmir, youths have been volunteering to patrol the streets during nights to foil such raids by police and other government forces. This video story was shot days before the security agencies in Kashmir launched a massive raid to nab the youths, in Baramulla’s Old Town, who had taken part in the three month long protests.
